Join Hylant for one of two informative seminars as they review the Affordable Care Act (ACA), sections 6055 and 6056 employer reporting requirements and how to report appropriately in various situations. Additionally, Hylant’s consultants will share an assessment of the latest technology in the marketplace designed to assist employers in compiling the required information and reporting to the IRS. This session is not simply an overview of the requirements, but a detailed review of situations such as the following:
• Are you prepared to report information on all full-time employees, including those who may be covered by a separate multi-employer plan through a collective bargaining agreement?
• Do you know when you need to report COBRA offers of coverage to individuals and when you don’t?
• Are you prepared to field employee questions regarding why they’re receiving this information, and why the number of forms they received is different than the number of forms received by their spouse?
• Have you addressed how you will capture retroactive changes, such as when an employee acquires a new dependent in December, but doesn’t notify you until January?
